There are two enemies to the preservation of your important document - light and the acidity of mat boards and fasteners touching the document. We have all witnessed the fading and browning of newspapers left in sunlight, or the browning of mat edges on inexpensive framing.
Our frames address both issues, exceeding Library of Congress Standards for document preservation. We use acrylic instead of glass, which is safer, and filters a higher percentage of harmful UV rays than ordinary glass. In addition, an upgrade to 98% UV filtering acrylic is available.
All matting and fasteners (included with each frame to attach your document to the mat) are lignin and acid free, to ensure that your diploma or certificate does not brown where it contacts the mat.
Q. Can you create a special order or emboss the mat with my organization's name?
A. Yes, we can match a frame that we created previously, or create a special order with your group's name or logo. Please contact us for details and pricing.
Q. Do you offer next day shipping?
A. As all of our products are custom made to your specifications, we cannot offer next day shipping. Please allow 2-3 weeks for manufacture and delivery. We make every effort to get your frame to you as quickly as possible. We ship via UPS Ground to US and Canadian addresses (please no P.O. Boxes). UPS rates are calculated online based on your postal code in order to insure the smallest possible shipping charge. Each frame will be shipped in a separate box to protect it.
Q. What is your return policy?
A. Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact customer support and we will remedy the situation. If your order has been damaged in transit or an error has been made on our part, we will replace the damaged or incorrect order and refund any shipping charges. As a product custom made to your specifications, there is a 20% restocking fee for returns or for re-cutting an order due to an incorrect document size. All frames must be returned in salable condition, with the customer paying shipping charges.
Q. Where are the frames made?
A. Each frame is hand made in Texas by experienced custom picture framers.
